The latest edition of GPS made easy reflects the increased accuracy provided by WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, and NDGPS coverage. It also addresses GPS usage with the newest available technology, such as downloadable maps, computers, PDAs, and Pocket PCs with GPS receivers.
Eventually this device would be named “telescopio”. In Greek, telescopio means “to see at a distance”. This would eventually evolve into the word telescope, but it certainly was an apt name for this new invention
